Whimsy

As I've mentioned in a previous post, I recently returned from an amazing, eye-opening, life changing, awe inspiring trip from Spain. I must be honest, Spain was never a priority for me. I never had an urge to visit it, see it, experience it; however, it was a destination that all my friends wanted to visit. The cities that I most wanted to visit was Paris or Rome.

So why Spain? Well, to be quite honest, it was the cheapest airfare compared to the other options we had. LOL. But Spain did not disappoint! The country is full of eye candy, beautiful architecture, art, people. The food was extraordinarily delicious as well. I can still taste the cafe con leche, the paella, the calamari sandwich....Spain left a positive impression on me and I can't wait to go back. For now I leave you with a few glimpses of our first afternoon in Barcelona.

Just a quick peek into what's on the horizon.

Sarah + Daniel

About a month ago I posted a teaser of Sarah and Daniel's e-session on the beach. Yes, it has taken me this long to write a proper post of their session.

The day was gorgeous in So. Cal. After weeks of relentless rain and rescheduling, the sky finally cooperated and allowed me to shoot. However, driving up the coast I was a little apprehensive about the location because the tsunami that hit Japan just occurred not two days ago. I was worried that the beach may have been closed off for visitors.

Upon arriving I was relieved to see people on the beach and that they were definitely safe. So without further ado, the wonderful couple and amazing location.

And did I mention cute? Those are just a couple of adjectives I would use to describe this multi-talented woman. I had so much fun exploring the city with Elaine and getting to know her. What's even more interesting is that we're both crazy about drinking coffee! I am so excited that we're going to hang out again soon and this time I'll be showing her around Orange County and taking her to my favorite coffee shop. Definitely not Starbucks.
